I have been fishing for Specimen Carp since 1994 and since then have caught Irish Carp to 25lbs and fish to 43lbs on the continent. During this time I’ve used many of todays top Tackle Company’s fishing gear and bait. I have always had to import my fishing gear from the UK as the proper tackle was not readily available in this country until very recently and even still is not as accessible as it could be. This is the idea and main reason behind the business I have set up, to make available to the Carp and specialist angler every thing he/she needs to fish properly and successfully.

I have seen many companies put sub-standard tackle and equipment for Carp on the Irish market and it is something that I will be avoiding. I intent to stock only tackle and bait that I would personally be satisfied enough with to use while fishing. If I don’t feel it’s up to the task, I will not be passing it on to someone else.
