Manufactured from a super high tensile carbon steel wire and forged for maximum strength. Barbel Maxx has a subtle beaked point which being curved inward toward the shank helps it to stay sharp when fishing over gravel.  A smooth Teflon coating further protects the point aids penetration and makes the hook non flash.  The distinct bend and short slightly swept shank improve hooking results and make Barbel Maxx an ideal hair rig pattern.
